Two Little Girls is a memoir of adoption that tells the story of two sisters who were adopted from Korea as infants. The book follows the girls as they grow up and navigate the challenges of being adopted, including racism, bullying, and identity issues.

The book opens with the girls' adoption day. They are just two years old, and they are about to leave their foster home in Korea and start a new life in America. The girls are excited, but they are also scared. They don't know what to expect, and they don't know if they will be loved by their new family.

The girls' new family is loving and supportive, but they also have to deal with the challenges of being adopted. They are often the only Asian children in their school, and they are sometimes teased or bullied because of their race. The girls also struggle with their identity. They don't feel like they fully belong in either Korea or America.

Despite the challenges, the girls grow up to be strong and independent women. They learn to embrace their unique identities, and they find their place in the world. Two Little Girls is an inspiring and heartwarming story that will resonate with anyone who has ever felt like an outsider.

Excerpt from Two Little Girls

I remember the day my parents picked me up from the orphanage in Korea. I was two years old, and I had been living in the orphanage for almost a year. I didn't know what to expect, but I was excited to start a new life with my new family.

My parents were so loving and welcoming. They hugged me and told me how much they loved me. I felt like I had finally found a home.

But it wasn't always easy being adopted. I was often the only Asian child in my school, and I was sometimes teased or bullied because of my race. I also struggled with my identity. I didn't feel like I fully belonged in either Korea or America.

But I learned to embrace my unique identity. I am Korean, but I am also American. I am proud of who I am, and I wouldn't trade my life for anything.
